The Fit-to-Fly PCR test for COVID-19 establishes whether someone is infected with the COVID-19 virus at the time of sample collection. This swab-sample test provides the highest degree of accuracy and proven efficacy—so you can be confident in the result.
Result is delivered via email 24 – 48 hours after receipt of sample at the lab.

- Order the kit a minimum of 7-10 days prior to your date of travel
- If you order your kit before 4 PM Monday – Friday, we deliver it via first-class signed-for post on the same day and you should receive your kit the following business day
- If you order over the weekend, add a couple of days to kit-delivery time

When should I take my COVID test to ensure I have my Fit-to-Fly certificate in time to travel?
Different airlines and destination countries have varying time requirements for the Fit to Fly COVID test to be valid at the time of travel. The durations are also subject to change so it is vital that you confirm the requirements and book your tests accordingly.
At-Home Self-Collection: You should collect your sample and post it to the laboratory the day before your time window begins. For example, if you are required to have a certificate dated within three days of your flight, please send your sample to the lab four days before you fly. It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure the sample reaches the lab in time.
At-Home Mobile Collector: You should book the collector to attend your home the day before your time window begins. For example, if you are required to have a certificate dated within three days of your flight, please book for four days before you fly.
DDC Clinic Appointment: You should book your sample appointment the day before your time window begins. For example, if you are required to have a certificate dated within three days of your flight, please book in four days before you fly.
